Are you waiting for me, my sweetheart? You remember my voice, don’t you, dove? Grace divine has designed that we met To believe, and to sing, and to love. Met we just as words marry a tune, In sweet stillness becoming a lay Which in heavens sings, praises, extols The eternal, unceasing love’s sway. Moonlit road is lying ahead It will lead to the kingdom of light. Please, abide, do not hurry, sweetheart, To the skies we shall take our wings.
